Church of Scientology
Since its formation in 1954, the Church of Scientology has always been controversial for various reasons. Furthermore, in 1993, when Scientology gained tax-exempt status due to its classification as a religion, controversy surrounding it only amplified further. The Church of Scientology remains under scrutiny because of its secretive manner and many people's suspicions of tax evasion. This has resulted in even more suspicion, as most members of Scientology are wealthy, well-known individuals who donate large amounts of money to the church annually, further fueling claims of tax evasion. Throughout recent decades, there have been countless investigations into the activities of the Church of Scientology, but there is still much more to uncover. Delegates must discuss and collaborate on what actions should be taken to make transparent the true intentions of the Church of Scientology.

Armament in the Arctic
The Arctic is becoming an area of tension unseen since the Cold War. The year is 2030: A Russian ship armed with deadly force is en route to Svalbard, the Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Ocean, and it’s your job to deal with this new development in the north. In recent years, Russia has reopened and modernized several Soviet-era military bases to exert control over the northern coastline. The United States and NATO have expanded operations to perform military exercises in the area. The militarization of the Arctic is not only threatening the lives and well-being of our fellow man, but also the sensitive environment present. The military presence, by Russia or otherwise, is in part motivated by the melting ice caps in the area. We don’t know Russia's motives, but it could spark a fire in the north nevertheless.

American Revolution: U.S.
The American revolution has just begun after the battles at Lexington and Concord in 1775. Tensions have been growing for years on end after colonists had disagreements with the British about law, taxes, and lack of representation in the government. Now, the rebellion is growing and Britain is at risk of losing resources and losing control over the United States colonies. The British must decide how to stop the rebellion of colonists and maintain control of the colonies. This situation could turn into a much larger war if further actions aren't taken.

Diadochi Wars
It is 321 B.C, and the Macedonian Empire has been thrown into chaos after the sudden and mysterious death of Alexander the Great, its emperor. “To the strongest” was all he had said to address who might succeed him after his death. Now, Alexander’s mightiest generals are fighting over the fate of the expansive and powerful empire that, unified by its former emperor's conquest, is beginning to fall apart. Meanwhile, the question of Alexander’s death remains, only heightened after Ptolemy of Egypt seizes his funeral carriage. Was Alexander’s death intentional? If so, could the perpetrator currently be fighting to inherit his empire? Delegates should discuss the question of succession, how to keep the Macedonian empire together (or whether it should be divided,) and the nature of Alexander the Great's death.

Vampire Panic
In the town of Transylvania, the public is fearing a potential vampire presence, as more and more villagers go missing. As panic rises, so do rumors and suspicions that Transylvanians have against their neighbors. With vital members of the community gone, the economic stability of the village is plummeting. An answer needs to be found immediately, so all involved in the disappearances have been gathered to finally pin the murders on a suspect. People are scared, and this committee needs to bring back the peace.

Waco Siege
As of March 18, 1993, the Waco standoff between the U.S. federal authorities and the Branch Davidians group had intensified into a national crisis. Following the deadly ATF raid, federal authorities and the Branch Davidians remain locked in a tense deadlock, with civilians still inside the compound. As negotiations are delayed and federal pressure increases, the threat of greater violence grows. The committee must now determine whether to pursue continued negotiations or risk a forceful intervention that could result in significant loss of life.

Harry Potter
The magical world has been a safe place since the Battle of Hogwarts almost 20 years ago, especially with the new Minister of Magic, Hermione Granger. That is, until now, as she has been captured. People believe that Death Eaters are back, now known as “the Lineage of the Basilisk,” and are here to cause the chaos they once brought. This committee must do its best to restore the peace that once was and rescue the minister before things escalate.

Bioterrorism
A deadly, genetically modified virus is set to be released in Madrid in just 23 hours, with a new strain threatened every day for the next 30 days. As fear spreads, the World Health Organization has called an emergency meeting to develop a plan to contain the virus, protect civilians, and prevent global panic. With limited information and time running out, delegates must work together to identify future targets and stop the outbreak before it becomes unstoppable. The fate of millions depends on the decisions made in this committee.

Flat Earth
The entire scientific concept of Earth as a spherical planet has now been proven false. For all time leading up to May 2025, it was generally speaking a fact that earth was spherical, so this discovery of territory beyond an ice wall has caused immense global shock and fear. There is speculation of government involvement in the adopted idea of a spherical Earth, panic over new territory, now populations exhibit radical behavior out of confusion and hysteria concerning the new territory. It is of the utmost importance to save the world from global collapse and find a solution to prevent further disaster.

ICJ
Order in the court! In this benchmark court case, the defendant, POTUS Donald J Trump, is on trial in the International Court of Justice on the following charges: count one: Blatant disobedience of UN Charter's prohibition on the use of force and Count two: Blatant disobedience of International Humanitarian Law. It is up to you, the impassioned justices of the ICJ, to review evidence carefully, debate vehemently, and to ultimately decide the fate of the defendant. As the world holds their breath, the ICJ will settle the case once and for all, and answer perhaps the biggest question in geopolitics today: should President Trump be absolved of his charges, or should he be removed from office and face further penalization?
